EU Assessment Framework Engagement
The European Union’s (EU) Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) is a framework that ensures chemicals, materials and products are developed to be safe, sustainable and circular from the very beginning. ISC3 promotes SSbD by connecting science, policy and industry, raising awareness among stakeholders and sharing knowledge through studies, workshops and partnerships. These activities have shown how SSbD can guide innovation while supporting global sustainability goals and safer alternatives.
