Promoting Sustainable Chemistry

Knowledge management and information dissemination on Sustainable Chemistry innovation, policies and research are important cross-sectional tasks of the ISC3. To support a better understanding of and a sound discussion on Sustainable Chemistry as a solution provider for sustainable development and a key contribution to a pollution free planet, the ISC3 acts as a knowledge and dialogue platform.

Events, conferences and exhibitions are key elements to spread the word and invite all stakeholder groups to join the discussion and share insights from all over the world.

From megatrends to focus topics

Every two years ISC3 works on different FOCUS TOPICS also known as workstream related to the SDGs and global megatrends as well as crosscutting issues such as:
  • Sustainable Chemistry & Climate Change;
  • Sustainable Chemistry & Building and Living;
  • Sustainable Chemistry & Mobility;
  • Sustainable Chemistry & Renewable Energy;
  • Circular Economy & Digitalization (Chemistry 4.0)

The focus topics offer a forum to explore current global challenges under the light of the new system thinking approach of Sustainable Chemistry. They help to connect relevant stakeholders from all sectors enabling them to promote Sustainable Chemistry easier and faster.
